The opening fixtures of season 2006/07 are now known and can be viewed on the stats page. Lanark will kick off their league campaign with an away match at last season's second division champions Blantyre Victoria (19 Aug), whilst the sectional league cup opener is also away, at Royal Albert (2 Aug). United have received a bye in the West Cup first round, and a friendly against Bellshill Athletic (away) has been arranged for 12 August to fill a blank Saturday in the league cup group.
